Our client, based in Mayfair, is seeking a Chauffeur/Butler to work at their property.  This position will consist of approximately 70% driving duties and 30% Butler related responsibilities.

The principals are in residence approximately 6 months of the year – when they are in residence flexibility with working days/hours will be required.

Experience working in both a Chauffeur and Butler capacity is required.

Duties include:

• Driving the principal to and from social and business engagements, running errands as required
• All servicing and MOT requirements are to be organised and handled effectively
• Parking permits for all vehicles to be managed
• Ensuring the vehicles are spotless in appearance and ready to drive without issue at all times
• Responsible for checking engine fluids, inspecting interior and exterior electrical and mechanical components, maintaining tyre pressure, and keeping fuel levels at adequate levels
• Covering any PA duties over weekends where required, for example making reservations and troubleshooting any issues within the residence
• Assist the Butlers with food and beverage service (formal and informal) when required within the apartment when clients are in residence, this includes service during dinner parties, drinks receptions, afternoon teas etc
• Oversee contractors during routine maintenance checks
• When clients are not in residence: maintain and update inventories as required of all service items and cellar stock

Candidate requirements:

• Proven experience working within a private household as a Driver & Butler
• Reliable, loyal, discreet, and flexible
• Knowledge of driving around London
• Smart and presentable
• Calm and rational with a positive attitude

Working Hours:

• When the client is not in residence: Monday to Friday, 9.00am–5.00pm
• When the client is in residence: 9-10 hours per day with flexibility to cover weekends and evenings as needed

Salary: £50,000-£55,000 GPA
