Our client, a globally renowned recording and touring artist, is looking for a full-time Accounts Manager and Bookkeeper to work across several companies and personal finances.

Candidates ideally would have held a position in the music industry with a good understanding of basic music rights and streams of revenue thereof.

Applicants should be based in London or the London area, and able to attend regular meetings in Central London (Hoxton area, client’s residence) and occasional meetings at the studios near Brentwood, therefore, you must be able to drive.

There will also be some remote working from your own home and travel with the client if they are touring.

Daily tasks:

  • Invoicing
  • Payment tracking
  • Close liaison with established Accountants and Payroll agents in UK and US
  • Management accounts
  • Business bookkeeping (3 UK companies)
  • Financial overview and cashflow projections
  • Preparation of VAT return
  • Communication with the bank (organising cards, fund transfers)
  • Maintaining personal finance records and reconciliations
  • Tracking and recharging mis-spent transactions
  • Mortgage management and tracking
  • Analysing royalty statements


  • R&D Tax Relief / Credit claims
  • EIS / SEIS applications
  • Business and personal Insurance policies management
  • Property lease handling
  • Tour and Merch accounting and advice to teams on the ground
  • Withholding taxes
  • Some UK and overseas travel may be required

Hours:  Monday to Friday (5 days per week) 40 hours, however flexibility for travel

Salary: upwards of £55,000 gross per annum
