Our client is looking for a Live-out Housekeeper for a large 3-floor house in St John's Wood.

The household consists of 5 people (parents, 2 teenage children, and grandmother), and there are no pets.  The family are also looking for a Chef but currently there is no other staff.

Duties include

• Housekeeping and laundry (which may include delicate materials) to a high standard.
• The client is particularly keen for the candidate to have strong laundry skills as at times they will be required to wash delicate materials by hand
• They also have a range of materials such as marble, glass, and wood in the house so the Housekeeper has to be able to cover those

This is quite a labour consuming role, as the Housekeeper will need to go up and down steps, lift hoover etc, so the position will be most suitable for someone physically fit, patient, and resilient.

The candidate must have experience of working in such large high-end houses (so they are ready for the size of the house, volume of work, and range of materials to take care of, as well as have the right attitude and manner).

The family are looking for someone very gentle, very discreet, and respectful.

The person must be confident to work at own initiative.

Working days & hours: Monday – Friday, 9.00am–5.00pm – although the client has mentioned that they would also love for the candidate to do a half-day on Saturday

Salary: £45,000 gross per year
