Our client is seeking a live-in Domestic Couple for his large, stunning residence in Bonn, Germany.

The principal, who frequently travels, requires a flexible Couple to oversee and handle the day-to-day running of his main residence, and to occasionally manage his smaller residence in Cologne.

The Couple should be willing to be hands-on. Although some previous experience working in private house is required, the client is seeking a hard-working and flexible Couple who can develop with the role.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Full housekeeping, cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, etc
• Laundry duties
• Animal care - which includes dog and donkey care
• Occasional cooking of simple meals at least twice a week
• Assisting with catering when the principal is entertaining
• Maintaining the upkeep of the grounds (external & internal)
• Maintenance duties
• Gardening including maintaining the ponds
• Light repairs/DIY
• Knowledge and maintenance of advanced heating systems
• Driving duties
• Preparing for arrival/departure of the principal, family, and guests
• Providing security

Couple requirements:

• Some previous private house experience required
• Preferably good spoken English and/or German
• Willingness to learn German
• EU passport holders
• Flexible and accommodating
• Take pride in their work
• Full drivers licence
• A pet will be considered

Accommodation:

• A beautiful separate 2-bedroom chalet, within walking distance to the main residence
• The property consists of a living room, dining room, and kitchen
• Access to the forest in the grounds of the estate
• Utilities will be paid by the client

Working Hours: Based on a 40-hour week. Flexibility required to work weekends if the principal is in residence. The principal is flexible and open to discuss a working pattern, for example 3 weeks on, 1 week off.

Salary: €2,500 NET per person, per month
