Our clients are seeking a dynamic and experienced Travelling Private Chef to join their long serving team at their beautiful Country Estate in Hampshire and also at their London residence.

Summer is usually spent in the South of France, and Autumn will include some time spent in Scotland; preparing picnic lunches and dinners for fishing weekends.

This fantastic live-in position is perfect for a Chef who loves utilising home grown produce and enjoys a rural lifestyle. There is a separate commercial kitchen with modern equipment and a wood-fired pizza oven.

The family consist of five adults and a toddler. With a healthy approach to eating, the family enjoy Mediterranean, Ottolenghi and Asian cuisines – also ‘old school’ British dishes and the odd cake!

It is a MUST that you possess the following:

• Candidates should be at ease in a family environment, and have a solid background in Private Households
• Must be legally able to work in the United Kingdom to apply for this role
• Driver recommended due to location - car provided during work hours
• Love children and animals
• Creative and forward-thinking
• Flexible with working hours
• French speaking preferred
• Happy to travel with the family when required

Duties include – but not limited to:

• Preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Catering for small dinner parties and functions
• Ensure the Hampshire residence is fully stocked when Chef is at another property
• Travelling with the family as required
• Build up relationships with local suppliers
• Utilise Estate produce - pickling, fermenting, jams and chutneys
• Working Wednesday – Sunday
• Co-ordinating with staff from other properties

Working Hours: Approximately 8.30am-2.30pm; and 4.30pm – finish
Working days: 5 days a week - Wednesday - Sunday
Accommodation: Furnished one bedroom flat in Estate grounds, no garden, but beautiful walks and bridleways close by
