Housekeeping Couple
We have a vacancy for an experienced couple for a long-term position to settle into looking after a beautiful country house within a 30 acre estate in the Leicestershire countryside.
The couple will need to have previous experience within a private household, with a meticulous eye for detail. Required to ensure the house is always kept to a high-end level of presentation. Couple will need to be dog friendly and happy to help with owner’s dogs and their care when needed. Couple report to the Estate Manager.

Duties to include but not limited to:
Housekeeper Duties

• All housekeeping duties to include dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and living areas
• Able to plan ahead to cover all seasonal deep cleans
• Care of household laundry and bed linens
• Arranging flowers from the estate glasshouse & Gardens
• Liaison with the Estate Manager

Houseman duties

• Mowing lawns and general weeding assisting gardeners when requested
• General outside work within the Estate as directed
• Driving duties as requested. Clean licence required
• General household maintenance/DIY
• Work in the house to assist the Housekeeper
• General DIY and light repairs

Required

• Excellent verifiable references with a good consistent employment record
• Previous experience as housekeeping couple to HNW employers
• Adaptable to change and happy to maintain a flexible can do attitude
• A discreet couple with a positive attitude who take pride in their work
• Good team players
• Motivated, trustworthy, amenable, and reliable

Accommodation: The position comes with a lovely 4 bed (offsite) house in a local village, all bills are paid

Start Date:  ASAP

Salary: Up to £65,000 depending on experience

Working week:  5 days per week - 40 hrs
