Our client with a stunning Chateau 50 kms from Paris is seeking a Seasonal Kitchen Assistant/Cook for their September to February shoot season.
This beautiful commercial Estate is set over 220 acres, providing the highest level of service and luxury for their guests.
As a Kitchen Assistant/Cook, you will be taking instruction from the Head Chef and Chef de Parties. Working 5 days a week you will be responsible for preparing and cooking the staff meal daily and assisting the kitchen team with  breakfast, elevenses, lunch, and afternoon tea – if required.

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Preparing and cooking staff meal
• Keeping the kitchen clean - reporting any issues
• Ensure the kitchen and pantry are fully stocked
• Stock checks/ordering
• Liaising with the Head Chef and Chef de Parties
• Assisting the kitchen team as required

Candidate should possess the following:

• Candidates should be at ease in a family environment, and have a solid background in Chalets/Villas
• Be incredibly organised and efficient
• Must be legally able to work in France
• French and English speaking essential
• Provide own Chef’s whites – apron & hat supplied
• Flexibility with working hours/days

Location: Near Paris, France
Contract Length: September 2024 - February 2025
Working Hours: Approx. 7am - 7pm tbc
Working Days: 5 days a week – If 6 days a day-off in lieu will be given
Accommodation: Single ensuite room, shared kitchen & lounge area. Staff laundry available
Meals: One meal daily supplied - shared kitchen in accommodation      
Salary: €1800 net per month
