Hours: Approximately 4:00pm – 7:00pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required

Summary

A family based in Richmond are seeking an experienced and flexible Afternoon Nanny to assist with the care of their children, aged between 8–15 years old.
This is a fully staffed household, and the successful candidate will be working collaboratively alongside one or two other rota nannies to ensure the children’s after-school routines run smoothly.
The role would suit a proactive, organised, and engaging nanny who is confident supporting older children and teenagers, while maintaining a calm and positive presence within the home. Flexibility is appreciated for occasional weekend support where required.
During school holidays, the role will be lighter as the family travel frequently.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assisting with the children’s after-school routine
• Supporting with homework and school organisation
• Assisting the Chef with dinner
• Helping the children get organised for the following school day
• Assisting with evening routines and getting ready for bed
• Working collaboratively with the existing nanny team and household staff
• Maintaining open and professional communication with the Principals and wider team
• Providing occasional additional support at weekends when required

Requirements

• Previous experience working within private households
• Confident caring for school-aged children and teenagers
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Flexible, team-oriented, and proactive approach
• Warm, calm, and professional manner
• Excellent references required
• Enhanced DBS preferred
