We are recruiting a Head Housekeeper with house management experience for a high-profile but informal family with a 7-bedroom residence in Virginia Water.

The property is in occupation approximately 6–8 weeks of the year, so we are looking for a proactive, reliable, and discreet individual who can maintain the home to a very high standard year-round, and be available when the family is in residence.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a savvy, experienced Housekeeper who enjoys autonomy, flexibility, and delivering outstanding service in a relaxed, respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deep cleaning and upkeep of a large private home
• Laundry and wardrobe care
• Grocery shopping and household provisioning
• Errand running and general household support
• Preparing the home ahead of family visits (eg stocking fridge/cupboards)
• Being on call when the family are in residence

The Ideal Candidate:

• Discreet, reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated
• Proactive with a “nothing is too much trouble” attitude
• Familiar and comfortable using eco-friendly cleaning products
• Child-friendly and socially aware
• Quick to act when things need doing, and can manage priorities independently and with initiative 
• Flexibility is key – the role is 3-4 days/week when the family aren't in residence, and may require full time hours when occupied, so the candidate must be available and responsive when the family are in residence
• Lives within a 30-minute commute of Virginia Water
• Driver with own vehicle

Start Date: Interviewing from July 2025
Salary: £50,000 per annum
