House Manager

Our client, with a property in Chelsea is looking for a live-out House Manager to assist with the smooth running of their residence.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of the household
  • Managing all maintenance, upkeep and organisation of the property
  • Liaising with contractors/suppliers
  • Supervising housekeeping staff, liaising with security team
  • Managing house inventory
  • Submitting reports of operation and management
  • General household support – assisting family when they are in residence
  • Attending to general requests of the family and running errands
  • The ideal candidate must have excellent organisation and communication skills as well as a very good knowledge of fine furnishings and surfaces
  • A positive, professional, can-do attitude is essential, discretion and flexibility also required
  • Running reports for expenses (Excel)
  • Be familiar with Microsoft Essentials
  • Basic office duties (printing, setting up a Zoom call)
  • Five-star hotel experience is a plus
  • Familiar with London’s most popular restaurants, clubs, etc

Candidate requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years of experience working within luxury properties and for UHNWIs
  • Be discreet with a strong sense of confidentiality and loyalty
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member
  • Hard working with a flexible and can-do attitude
  • Fluent English preferred, and right to work in the UK

Start Date: ASAP
Working days: Monday to Friday
Working hours: 9am – 5pm with flexibility
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience
