Job Title: Full-time Housekeeper/Cook
Location: Holland Park, London
Hours: 45–50 hours per week
Salary: £45,000–£50,000 gross per annum (depending on hours)

About the Role:

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and meticulous Housekeeper/Cook to join a family household in Holland Park on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will take care of all aspects of home management, including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, running errands, and occasional support with childcare. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, committed to long-term employment, and happy to become an integral part of the family life. A valid UK driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeping Duties:

• Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the home to a high standard
• Perform routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
• Clean and sanitise bathrooms
• Maintain and clean the kitchen area
• Manage laundry tasks: washing, drying, ironing, and organising clothing
• Make beds and replace linens as needed
• Clean and organise dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
• Run household errands such as shopping, post office visits, and other family needs

Cooking Duties:

• Prepare healthy meals for the whole family, either independently or assisting the mother
• Assist with meal planning and kitchen organisation as needed

Childcare Duties:

• Occasional driving of children (ages 5, 14, and 16) to school or activities
• Prepare meals for the children as needed
• Provide occasional overnight care when both parents travel for work
• Support proxy parenting duties when required

Requirements:

• Valid UK driving licence
• Good standard of English preferred
• Friendly, flexible, and meticulous with strong attention to detail
• Experience in housekeeping, cooking, and basic childcare
• Willingness to integrate into the household and commit long-term
