Housekeeper/Nanny
Location: Belsize Park, London
Children: Two children aged 7 (boy) and 5 (girl), with a baby expected February 2026
Working Days: Wednesday – Sunday
Hours:

• Wednesday–Friday: approximately 11:00am – 7:00pm
• Sunday: approximately 12:00pm – 8:00pm

Start Date: Mid to late January 2026
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Role Summary:

A warm, energetic and proactive Housekeeper with light childcare responsibilities is required to support a family living in Belsize Park. The household consists of two adults, two school-aged children and a baby expected in February 2026.

The family currently employ a full-time, live-out nanny who has been with them for six years. The father works between the office and home, while the mother will be commencing maternity leave and will be at home full-time caring for the newborn, supported by the existing nanny.

This role would suit a capable and switched-on candidate who is confident managing housekeeping duties independently while also being happy to assist with childcare, particularly at weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• General cleaning and housekeeping duties, primarily during the first half of the day (Wednesday–Friday)
• Maintaining a clean, organised and well-run household
• School pick-up for one child and transport to after-school activities from approximately 3:00pm
• Providing childcare support on Saturdays and Sundays, with a greater focus on the two children aged 7 and 5
• Working collaboratively alongside the parents and existing nanny
• Travelling with the family when required, particularly during the summer (for example, an extended stay of up to five weeks in Spain)

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar Housekeeper/Nanny or blended role
• Confident and comfortable working with children
• Energetic, proactive and highly organised
• Able to work well as part of a household team
• A full driving licence is preferred
• Flexible and adaptable approach
• Looking for a long-term position
