Location: Belsize Park, London

Salary: £22ph 
Hours: Monday - Friday 45hrs per week. Start and finish times to be discussed as the client is willing to be flexible
Travel: Occasional travel with the family would be a real plus

Summary
A family of five based in Belsize Park are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and highly capable Housekeeper / Nanny to take ownership of the smooth running and presentation of their home, whilst supporting with their three children aged 7, 5 and 3.

Housekeeping is the main focus of the role, with childcare being a meaningful but secondary responsibility. The family are looking for someone who is dedicated, motivated, competent, rigorous, and discreet. Someone who takes genuine ownership of the home and can be trusted to maintain high standards.

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the day-to-day housekeeping, whilst supporting the children during afternoons and evenings.

Duties and Responsibilities
Housekeeping Duties

• Full daily housekeeping duties throughout the home
• Cleaning and maintaining the property to a high standard
• Careful handling of delicate materials, surfaces, fabrics, and furnishings
• Laundry and ironing
• Care of household linen
• Maintaining household organisation and inventory
• Monitoring household supplies as required
• Taking ownership of the smooth day-to-day running of the home

Childcare Duties

• Supporting with the three children aged 7, 5 and 3
• Providing after-school support
• Preparing after-school snacks
• Assisting with homework
• Supporting with bath and evening routines
• Assisting with dinner
• Supporting with bedtime
• Providing occasional daytime childcare during school holidays

Candidate Requirements

• Previous private household experience
• Strong housekeeping skills and excellent attention to detail
• High standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Experience caring for school-aged children
• Organised, efficient, and able to manage responsibilities independently
• Proactive approach with the ability to take ownership
• Discreet and trustworthy
• Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the family
• Willingness to travel occasionally with the family is a bonus but not essential
• Excellent references required and an up to date DBS
