Live-out Houseman / Cook
Location: Kensington, London
Salary: Circa £45,000–£55,000+ DOE
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Travel: Long-term international travel required

A private family based in Kensington is seeking a professional, reliable and versatile Houseman to join their established household team.

This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the smooth running of the household. The successful candidate will be practical, proactive and happy to assist with a range of household duties, including general housekeeping, maintenance, errands and some cooking and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• General household support and assisting with the day-to-day running of the property
• Maintaining the household to a high standard
• Assisting with general cleaning and housekeeping duties when required
• Helping with practical household tasks and basic maintenance
• Running errands and assisting with household shopping and other ad hoc duties
• Preparing simple, healthy meals for the family, with Mediterranean and European cuisine an advantage
• Providing occasional service and assisting with entertaining when required
• Working closely with the existing household staff
• Travelling internationally with the family for extended periods

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working in a private family household is essential
• A versatile, hands-on and practical approach to household duties
• Confident assisting with general housekeeping and household maintenance
• Comfortable with some cooking and meal preparation
• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently
• A team player who is happy to work alongside existing household staff
• Holds a valid UK driving licence
• Flexible and willing to undertake long-term international travel with the family
