International family are seeking candidates to provide a traditional Butler service in the Principals’ residences, and the various residences of other family members, as instructed by the Principals, the CEO, or the Company:

  • Assist the House Managers at the family’s various private residences in all duties and tasks.
  • To be responsible for supervising, directing and service staff who are assisting the family and their guests.
  • Maintain and run designated areas of any of the Principals’ residences and those of the family, as instructed.
  • Take full responsibility of instructed duties and areas during provision of the Services.
  • Front of House service, greeting, welcoming and announcing guests; and assisting with packing and unpacking of their bags, luggage or other items.
  • Answering all phone calls, taking and delivering messages to the appropriate family members without delay.
  • Reporting any incidents, casualties, emergencies or any other unusual developments that may take place at the Principals' residence or in its vicinity to the Company and the family.
  • Coordinating luggage delivery and collection from rooms, packing and unpacking if required.
  • Maintenance of general cleanliness in kitchen, pantry areas, stock rooms, service areas.
  • Stocktaking and checks of all dinner sets and silverware.
  • Specialist cleaning techniques and polishing of high-end dinner and cutlery services.
  • Taking steps for the appropriate conservation of silver, gilt and glass items.
  • Overseeing the correct layout, change-over and upkeep of table services for breakfast, lunch and evening meals.
  • Serving food and drinks, ensuring proper dining table service at all times, and provision of a full and timely breakfast, lunch and dinner service, including setting out tables at mealtimes, serving, and clearing meals.
  • Maintaining exhaustive, up-to-date inventories of valuables at the residences.
  • Day-to-day personal errands for the Principals and other family members.
  • The timely preparation of food, and undertake cooking and assisting the family with home cooking.
  • Organization of all rooms in the residences in accordance with the requests of the Principals or other members of the family.
  • Assistance with special event planning and guest and table service, as well as social event administration planning and post event follow up.
  • Purchase items as approved by Principals, or other members of the family when assisting at their residences.
  • General housekeeping duties, cleaning, making beds, laundering and pressing of clothes, linens, towels and others similar domestic chores.
  • Ensuring the cleaning of kitchens and other areas of the back and front of the residences to ensure that the household is run smoothly and is always in good working order.
  • Organizing and participating in events which are hosted at other venues, houses, or on boats, and planes.
  • To assist and coordinate parties and events, and serve meals and pour drinks for guests.
  • Anticipate family member and guests’ needs by learning their preferences, allergies, dislikes, etc and maintain a thorough knowledge of all spirits and specialty foods currently in stock at the residence where the Employee is currently providing the Services.
  • Valet parking and chauffeuring of vehicles at the residences.

Live-out position in London, and you will be required to travel 15-20 weeks per year, where accommodation will be provided.
