Junior Housekeeper 

Location: Englefield Green, Surrey
Salary: £33,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
Flexibility: When the family are in residence, hours will be as required across 7 days, overtime hours will be paid at 1.5x Monday-Saturday and 2x Sunday.

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across the Estate.

The successful candidate will work as part of a housekeeping team, ensuring all areas of the estate are consistently well maintained, while supporting the wider estate team as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the estate
• Perform a full range of housekeeping duties, including:
• Cleaning and vacuuming
• Laundry and ironing
• Servicing rooms
• Silver polishing
• Brass cleaning
• General housekeeping tasks
• Ensure all rooms are prepared and maintained to a high standard
• Report any maintenance issues or defects to the Estate Managers
• Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team across all areas of the estate
• Support additional reasonable duties as required by the Employer or associated businesses

Flexibility of Role

• The role requires a flexible approach to duties and working hours, particularly when the family are in residence
• Duties may vary in line with operational needs

Candidate Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience (private household or similar environment preferred)
• High attention to detail and pride in maintaining standards
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Discreet, professional, and reliable
• Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours and duties
