Our client, with a residence in Belgravia, is looking for a Live-in Housekeeper/Mother’s Help, ensuring the smooth running of their household and care of their nearly 4-year-old daughter (who attends full-time nursery).

This position is 90% housekeeping with 10% childcare, evenings and during travel.

Duties include:

• Shared care of the principals’ toddler, occasionally sole charge (Mum is very hands-on)
• Hands-on housekeeping – cleaning, tidying, organising
• Mopping & hoovering
• Changing bed linen
• Nursery runs / taking the child out
• Cooking family meals
• Travelling with the family including weekends at the country residence (Hampshire) and family holidays abroad
• Ad hoc tasks / errands

Candidate requirements:

• Friendly and kind-hearted but professional
• Experience in both housekeeping and childcare
• Ideally some qualifications/training within child development
• Attention to detail and knowledge on caring for various materials and surfaces

Accommodation: Basement accommodation. Bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette. Own entrance

Working Days: 5 days per week on rota - to include some weekends

Working Hours:

• 8.00am–8.00pm
• You will be required to cover 1-2 nights of babysitting per week (pre-planned)
• Any further babysitting will be paid as overtime

Salary: Circa £50,000 GPA
