Live-in Domestic Couple – Hyde Park, London
Salary: £80,000 DOE
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (flexibility required for weekends and longer hours when the family are in residence)
Accommodation: Provided in the main residence: 1 bedroom with ensuite and private living area, with full use of the house when the family are not in residence

Overview:

An experienced and proactive Live-in Domestic Couple is required to care for and maintain a luxury part-time residence in Hyde Park, as well as two neighbouring properties, an apartment below and a mews house next door. The principal and their family reside at the property only a handful of times throughout the year; therefore, the successful Couple will ensure that all residences are maintained to the highest standard and always ready for immediate occupation.

Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeping & Service:

• Full housekeeping duties, ensuring the main residence and additional properties are kept immaculate at all times
• Laundry, ironing, wardrobe management, and care of fine fabrics and furnishings
• Light table service and assistance during family stays and entertaining
• Daily and deep cleaning routines, including upkeep of silver, crystal, and antiques

Property Maintenance:

• Light handyman duties, basic repairs, touch-ups, and painting/decorating as needed
• Overseeing the general upkeep and maintenance of all three properties
• Coordinating with external contractors and service providers

Outdoor Care:

• Maintaining the terrace and outdoor areas
• Watering and caring for plants and outdoor features

Security & Oversight:

• Providing 24/7 on-site security and ensuring all properties are safe and secure at all times
• Regular property checks when unoccupied

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a domestic couple within a private household or luxury estate
• Excellent attention to detail, discretion, and a proactive work ethic
• Hands-on, flexible, and adaptable approach to duties
• Confident liaising with external contractors and managing multiple properties
• Right to work in the UK and excellent references

Hours & Flexibility:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, with flexibility to adjust hours and work weekends or longer days when the family are in residence.
