Our client with a beautiful private villa in Porto Ercole is seeking a dedicated and experienced House Manager to oversee the year-round care and daily operations of the estate.  This is a live-in role, ideally suited to a proactive, hands-on individual who is bilingual in English and Italian and comfortable switching between managerial and hands-on responsibilities based on seasonal needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Winter Season (Low Season):

• Perform handyman tasks and general property maintenance
• Carry out cleaning, repairs, and light renovation work
• Act as an in-house builder for minor improvements and upkeep
• Ensure the villa is maintained in pristine condition during the off-season

Summer Season (High Season):

• Act as a driver for the family and guests
• Serve as waiter and butler during meals and events
• Assist with housekeeping duties including cooking, cleaning, and laundry as needed
• Ensure high standards of hospitality and guest care
• Manage and support additional seasonal staff
• Coordinate and supervise all household schedules and shift planning

Year-Round Duties:

• Liaise with and coordinate external suppliers, contractors, and service providers
• Maintain property inventories and ensure supplies are always stocked
• Provide regular updates to the property owners and act as their local representative
• Ensure discretion, security, and high standards of professionalism at all times

Hours:

• 12 hour days, 6 days per week in June, July, and August
• 6 hour days, 5 days per week for the rest of the year
• Average of 40.5 hours per week

Accommodation: Comfortable private live-in accommodation on the property
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000
