Overview

A distinguished private household in Muscat, Oman is seeking an experienced and highly professional Live-in House Manager to oversee and elevate the daily operations of a luxury villa. The household is home to a male principal and his two adult children, supported by a team of 10 staff.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a candidate currently working as a House Manager who has previous experience as a senior Butler, Houseman, or similar.

Key Responsibilities

Household Management & Leadership

• Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the villa
• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of 10 staff
• Act as a mentor, providing training, structure, and guidance
• Ensure the highest standards of service, presentation, and efficiency
• Implement and maintain systems, routines, and best practices

Hands-on Duties

• Provide butler service including formal and informal service
• Assist with housekeeping tasks when required
• Oversee and support wardrobe management
• Participate in service during events and daily operations
• Carry out driving duties as needed

Operational Excellence

• Ensure the household is maintained to a high standard at all times
• Anticipate the needs of the principal and family
• Coordinate staff schedules and duties
• Uphold discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism

Candidate Profile

• Male candidate (due to cultural requirements)
• Proven experience as a House Manager in a private household
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Hands-on, proactive, and service-oriented mindset
• Excellent spoken English
• High attention to detail and organisational skills
• Professional, discreet, and adaptable
