Live-in Nanny/Housekeeper – Milan, Italy
Accommodation: Private bedroom and bathroom provided
Working days and hours: 5–6 days per week, 1–2 full days off (including Sunday)

Location: Milan, Italy

Our client, a warm and busy international family residing just outside Milan, is seeking an experienced, calm, and proactive Live-in Nanny/Housekeeper to join their household. The parents both work and travel occasionally, requiring someone reliable who can confidently take on a “proxy parent” role when needed.

• Housekeeping 60%
• Nanny 40%

The Children:

• 6 children, aged 13, 11, 10, 8, 5, and 3
• Four eldest are independent and supported by a Governess
• Two youngest (preschool/early primary) require close supervision, bathing, and hands-on care

Position Overview:

• Live-in, full-time (5–6 days/week)
• Occasional international travel with the family (valid passport required)
• Use of family car for school runs, activities, and errands

Key Responsibilities:

• Support morning routines, including breakfast, school bag preparation, lunch boxes, and uniforms
• School drop-off and pick-up when required
• After-school supervision, homework oversight, and organisation of activities
• Supervising, playing with, bathing, and putting to bed the two youngest children
• Light children’s meal preparation when needed
• Maintaining children’s rooms, play areas, and laundry
• Planning weekly schedules and coordinating activities, playdates, sports, and tutors
• Acting as proxy parent during parents’ travel, including sole charge of all six children for short periods

Candidate Requirements:

• Native or fully fluent English speaker preferred; Italian is a strong advantage
• Clean driving licence and confident driver
• Legal right to live and work in the EU (EU passport or existing Italian work permit)
• Calm, energetic, organised, and discreet
• Non-smoker
• First aid/paediatric first aid certification is desirable
• Comfortable with occasional long hours and international travel
