Live-in Part-Time Housekeeper

Location: Cotswolds, near Chipping Norton
Days/Hours: Monday and Friday, part-time
Salary: £1,000 per month
Accommodation: Private one-bedroom, self-contained cottage provided

Our client, based in the beautiful Cotswolds, is seeking a professional, trustworthy, and warm-natured Housekeeper to support the smooth and efficient running of their home. This is a lovely long-term opportunity for someone who takes genuine pride in their work, enjoys creating a welcoming environment and is looking to become a valued part of a private household.

The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and flexible in their approach, with a positive and “can-do” attitude. The family are looking for someone kind and personable, who is happy to assist where needed. As the household includes pets, a genuine love of animals is essential. Some simple cooking will also be required, so confidence in preparing home-style meals would be appreciated.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Full housekeeping and daily cleaning to a high standard
• Laundry care, including washing and ironing delicate fabrics
• Maintaining organisation and overall household order
• Mopping, vacuuming, dusting and polishing
• Caring for family pets
• Preparing simple, home-cooked meals

Candidate Requirements:

• A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience working within private households
• Demonstrated longevity and strong references from previous roles
• A proactive, kind and friendly personality
• Flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude
• Seeking a long-term position
• Comfortable and confident around animals
