Maintenance Manager

Our clients are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee all facilities management at their residence in the South of France, near Ramatuelle. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, experience within high-end private residences, and a hands-on approach to maintenance and problem-solving.

This role is responsible for the overall upkeep and smooth running of the property, ensuring that all systems and facilities are maintained to the highest standard. The successful candidate will also manage external contractors when required and take the lead on maintenance planning and execution.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Overseeing all aspects of property and facilities management
• Carrying out hands-on maintenance and repairs where possible
• Managing and coordinating external contractors and service providers
• Monitoring and maintaining all technical systems, including electrical and HVAC
• Ensuring all maintenance work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes
• Proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure the property runs smoothly at all times

Candidate requirements:

• Relevant recognised qualification
• Proven experience working within high-end private residences
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems
• Experience with air conditioning systems, heat exchangers, and heat pumps
• Fluent in English and French
• Highly discreet, trustworthy, and reliable
• Proactive, with strong problem-solving skills
• Hands-on and capable of carrying out maintenance tasks independently
• Excellent attention to detail
• Professional, confident, and personable, with the ability to remain unobtrusive

Accommodation:

• Bedroom within the main residence, with private bathroom provided

Salary:

• €4,000 net per month, negotiable depending on experience
