Position: Live-In Nanny/Governess
Location: Qatar
Family: Mother, 12-year-old daughter, and one small dog
Household: Fully staffed

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Nanny/Governess to care for a 12-year-old girl. The role involves supervising, organising age-appropriate activities, assisting with tutoring and homework, managing the child’s wardrobe, and supporting her daily routines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the welfare of the child, preferably six days a week (flexible)
• Plan and organise age-appropriate activities, lessons, and recreational pursuits
• Support with tutoring, homework, and lesson planning
• Manage the child’s wardrobe and daily organisation
• Attend school meetings and liaise with teachers as needed
• School pick-up and drop-off
• Take the child to extracurricular activities, including tennis and music lessons
• Proactively manage daily schedules and household routines relating to the child
• Travel with the family when required, with time in lieu provided

Requirements:

• Experience working with teenagers in a live-in capacity
• Strong organisational skills and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible hours – the child usually goes to bed by 8:30 PM, mornings start with getting her ready for school
• Experience in fully staffed households is preferred

Accommodation:

• Private bedroom and bathroom within the family villa
