Housekeeper/Cook – Seer Green
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Location: Seer Green, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £37,000 – £48,000 GPA, dependent on experience
Accommodation (if live-in): Self-contained bedroom and bathroom in the annex above the garage. Suitable for one person. No pets or smokers.
Start Date: October/November

We are seeking a highly organised, experienced, and discreet Housekeeper/Cook to join a welcoming family of four, based in the beautiful village of Seer Green, Buckinghamshire. The family also has a friendly Cavapoo dog, so a pet-friendly approach is essential.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work independently to ensure the smooth daily running of the household.

They are looking for a Live-in candidate but are open to Live-out if they are local.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out all general housekeeping duties to an exceptional standard
• Preparing and cooking meals for the family when required (no allergies or intolerances)
• Occasional babysitting for the youngest child on an ad hoc basis
• Laundry and ironing, including care of delicate fabrics
• Changing bed linen and towels regularly
• Keeping the home tidy and organised, with occasional light household organisation projects
• Managing household supplies and maintaining stock levels
• Running errands or accepting deliveries as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar housekeeping role within a private household
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness
• Ability to manage time effectively and work without supervision
• Discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of family privacy
• Pet-friendly and happy to work around a small dog
