A friendly family living on a beautiful private estate in Godalming, Surrey, is looking for a Junior Housekeeper to join their welcoming household team. This role is perfect for someone who is new to private housekeeping or has limited experience and is eager to learn and grow.

The household includes two principals, their 20-year-old son, and their lovely dogs. You will be working as part of a supportive team that includes a Head Housekeeper, Junior Housekeepers, Gardeners, and Security staff. The family values teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude.

This position can be offered on a live-in or live-out basis.

Key Responsibilities (training will be provided):

• Helping to keep the home clean, tidy, and well-organised
• Daily cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing
• Assisting with laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organisation
• Helping to maintain storage and household organisation systems
• Running small errands when needed
• Helping with light pet care (must be comfortable around dogs)
• Supporting the Head Housekeeper and learning new skills as you go

Who We’re Looking For:

• Someone with a great attitude and willingness to learn
• Some experience in cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality, or similar work is ideal but not essential
• A team player who is kind, respectful, and helpful
• Reliable, discreet, and trustworthy
• Good attention to detail and pride in your work
• A driver’s licence is preferred but not essential (a car can be provided for work duties if needed)
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK

Working Hours & Schedule:

• 5 days per week, including some weekends (on a fair rota)
• 9am–6pm
• Some flexibility may be required at times

Accommodation:

• Live-in option available (comfortable accommodation on the estate)
• Live-out candidates also welcome

Salary:

• 0-1 years’ experience: £26,000 per annum, depending on experience and whether you live in/out
• 1-2 years’ experience: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and whether you live in/out
• 2+ years' experience: £30,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience and whether you live in/out
