  • Manage dry cleaning requirements and liaise with external services when needed
  • Maintain and clean laundry appliances, ensuring proper operation and maintenance

Wardrobe Management:

  • Organise wardrobes and storage for the principals and guests
  • Catalogue and maintain clothing inventories where required
  • Prepare and pack/unpack clothing for travel, ensuring items are presented and organised
  • Monitor and report on any repairs, alterations, or replacements needed
  • Keep seasonal wardrobes rotated and ready for use

Household Linen Care:

  • Wash, press, and store household linens (bed linen, table linen, towels, etc.) to the highest standard
  • Prepare linens for guest bedrooms and formal dining occasions
  • Ensure linen cupboards and laundry rooms are organised, clean, and fully stocked

Teamwork & Flexibility:

  • Work collaboratively with other household staff, including the Housekeepers, Estate Manager, and Chef
  • Assist with general housekeeping duties when required, especially during busy periods or shoot season
  • Be adaptable and willing to adjust working hours to meet household needs when the principals are in residence
  • Follow direction while using initiative to anticipate requirements and maintain smooth daily operations

Candidate Requirements:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine passion for maintaining high standards
  • Excellent knowledge of fabric care, stain removal, and pressing/ironing techniques
  • Discreet, professional, and reliable with a calm, organised approach
  • Team player with a flexible and proactive attitude
  • Driving licence preferred (due to rural location)
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom

Accommodation (if live-in):

  • A separate and well-appointed staff cottage or apartment may be provided on the estate, inclusive of utilities

Salary & Benefits:

  • Circa £40,000 DOE and if live-in/out
