We are seeking a top-level candidate to manage multiple properties located in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland and a coastal home in the South of France.

Reporting directly into the Private Family Office, you will be responsible for the management of both properties and the household staff, ensuring the 5* standards expected by the Principals are met at all times.

Ideally you will already be residing within a close commute to the Swiss property, offering fluency in both French and English.  We are searching for a candidate who offers a minimum of 6 years’ proven experience successfully managing private residences and teams of household staff.  Diplomacy, tact and confidence in your own management skills will be required to handle any issues arising with contractors and household staff.  An honest and fair approach is essential.

There are 3 domestic household staff employed in each property, and you will additionally be overseeing up to 15 external contractors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure the day-to-day operation of each property is highly organised, efficiently run and impeccably maintained to a 5* hotel standard.
  • Train staff to enable them to deliver to expected standards.
  • Report on a regular basis to the Family Office on all matters relating to budgets, small projects and household staff.
  • Instigate and maintain strong relationships with local contractors and suppliers for both properties.
  • Liaise with the relevant authorities for building rules & regulations in each local jurisdiction.

Salary circa £60,000-£80,000 depending on experience
