Live-out House Manager
London, Hampstead, Salary circa £50,000
This is a super opportunity for an experienced Live-out House Manager / PA to take responsibility of overseeing and managing a beautiful residence in Bishops Avenue. It is a mere 7 minutes' walk from East Finchley Station. Alternatively, if you drive, you can easily park in the road outside the residence.
The Principals come to their London home at various times during the year but most usually between June and September and quite often during Christmas too. Your duties will be to ensure the smooth running and organisation of the household. There are some requirements to 'update' and improve certain areas within the residence and systems to be put in place. The finer details must all be taken care of and therefore training to the Housekeeper/s will be required. The residence has to be kept in a ready state at all times and although there is a schedule of how each room should be cleaned and prepared, this will also require some amendments and updates.
It is important that you have experience in managing a substantial property and delivering to an extremely high standard.
You must be energetic - keen to work hard within a team and be prepared to be flexible in the duties you perform. Discretion, tact and diplomacy are required for this role as you will be liaising directly with the high profile Principal.
When in residence, the family bring their staff from overseas who assist them in their personal needs and most of whom have worked with the family for many years. You will therefore be working closely with them and overseeing operation of the residence whilst taking them into consideration when making changes to the systems in place.
A fine eye for detail, service background, high level of energy, good communication and IT skills are all required. There may be some travel involved at a future date, and PA assistance to the family members. You should preferably have a good 'contact / black book' for London.
Days of Work: Monday to Friday (when family are not in residence)
Hours: 8.00am - 5.00pm or 9.00am to 6.00pm
Please note that when the family are in residence weekend work will be required and shared with the Housekeepers, ie work Friday and Saturday or Sunday and Monday.
Holidays can be taken when the family are not in residence so anytime between February and May (inclusive) and October and November. Alternate Christmas time you can also have as holiday. If working, then Christmas Day is holiday even if the family are at home.
Salary will be depending on experience to date - circa £50,000
