Germany, Berlin, Salary circa €15.00 gross per hour
This is an exciting opportunity for a German/English speaking experienced Housekeeper/Cook looking for a new role in Berlin, and who has the right to work in Germany.
The 3 male Principals, who are all successful professionals in technology, property and fashion, will be moving into their new apartment in January with their small well behaved dog. The apartment is a 6 room luxury penthouse, and in addition they own a 3 room apartment for guests. One of the Principals will also have an office / showroom for his business – opening in March 2020.
They are, therefore, looking for a cheerful, positive, professionally trained, hardworking Housekeeper who understands discretion, and will ideally have a minimum of 10 years’ experience. The job will involve looking after all three properties – although most of the time will be spent at the main residence.
You must be dog friendly as this is a key part of the role – you will be responsible for his food, walks, trips to the vets and grooming.
Your duties will also include:
Cleaning, tidying, dusting, polishing
Mopping wooden floors
Cleaning windows (internally)
Managing deliveries – collecting and dropping off parcels
Laundry and ironing, wardrobe management and repair
Preparing and cooking meals
Packing and unpacking suitcases for travel
It is essential that you have a genuinely good attention to the finer details and ensure everything is kept in the right place.
The Principals travel frequently and they often have guests staying so managing linen, changing beds and handling laundry for guests as well will be important. If all three Principals are travelling, the hours of work will be significantly less although full salary will still be paid. The important thing will be to look after the dog, which you can do either at your own home or by staying in a guest room.
Working Days: Monday to Friday – the Principals are more interested in the jobs being completed properly so if you finish early, you can leave early.
Working Hours: 32–40 hours per week
Salary depending on experience – circa Euros 15.00 gross per hour
