Location: Virginia Water, Surrey
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:30/6:00pm
Salary: £42,000 – £45,000 GPA, depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP (open to a January start if contracts are finalised beforehand)
Children: 2 boys, aged 3 & 7

Overview:

A lovely family, based in Virginia Water, is seeking a professional, kind, and proactive Housekeeper/Nanny to join their household. The position will be approximately 70% housekeeping and 30% childcare, supporting a smooth-running home. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a traditional, well-maintained household, take pride in high standards, and possess a positive “can-do” attitude. The family values discretion, respect, and a calm, helpful approach.

Housekeeping Duties (70%):

• Full housekeeping of a 7/8-bedroom residence, ensuring all areas are kept to a high standard
• Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
• Organisation of household items, tidying, and light household errands
• Preparing simple family-style meals (no pork)
• Assisting the Part-time Housekeeper, and communicating effectively with other household staff, including the Driver
• Flower arranging

Nanny Duties (30%):

• Helping the children get ready for school each morning
• School drop-off and collection as required (driver beneficial but not essential)
• Engaging with the children in the evenings after school
• Providing additional support during school holidays, when the role becomes more Nanny-focused
• Working collaboratively with the parents to ensure continuity and routine

Additional Information:

• The family travel abroad for approximately two months per year
• Travel with the family is welcome but not required
• Any additional hours worked during the year will be given back in lieu while the family are away
• The family have no pets

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar combined Housekeeper/Nanny role within a private household
• Warm, trustworthy, and discreet with a strong work ethic
• Confident managing housekeeping in a large home
• Organised, reliable, and proactive with excellent attention to detail
• Flexible and supportive team player, happy to assist wherever needed
