Our client, who lives a few minutes' walk from Earls Court, Gloucester Road and High St Kensington stations, is looking for an experienced live-in or live-out Housekeeper/Nanny. If you are live-out, you must live within a 30 minute commute to the residence.

The female Principal and her 8 year old daughter plus two cats live in a large 2 floor apartment.  She requires the Housekeeper to ensure the residence is kept to a very high standard - when guests are invited, they are formal but when just family it is a relaxed environment.

You should have a good knowledge of fine fabrics and be prepared to do some light cooking on occasion.  The Principal travels extensively - every 5 weeks she is away for a week and travels all of August, December and most of April.  When she is in residence, the hours will be longer but when travelling, although you need to check on the apartment, the workload will be extremely light.  Duties include:  cleaning, polishing silver, laundry, ironing, light coooking.

The Principal is a stay at home mother so the Nanny element of the role is occasional evening childcare, and overseeing her daughter if she has to pop out for an errand.  If you are required to babysit, she will pay for a taxi home (after 10.00pm).

Accommodation: Own bedroom and bathroom (although bedroom will be shared as a play room)

Days of work:  Monday - Friday and Saturday morning (when in residence)

Hours of work:  8:00am-5:00pm / 8:00pm if guests (when in residence)

Hours of work:  minimal (when Principal and daughter are travelling)

Salary:  £450 net per week

Start Date:  15th February
