London, Wandsworth, Salary £500-£600 net per week
Our Clients, a busy professional working couple with their own business, are searching for an experienced Housekeeper to oversee the running of their household. They have 14-year old and 12-year old girls who attend boarding school. They also have a miniature Dachshund. The residence is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 3 storey house in Wandsworth.
They are really looking for an experienced, professional, multi-faceted Housekeeper who understands not only how to clean to a high level, but has top organisational skills and a meticulous eye for detail. A positive and happy nature is also important for this role.
The Clients are very lovely and have had staff that have stayed with them for many years so are hoping to find a Housekeeper who wishes to find longevity within a role.
Overseeing all housekeeping, including deep cleans and laundry, ironing, changing of bed linen
Manage and organise the house, including taking deliveries, overseeing weekly food order, letting in the garden service on Mondays, keep stock of items that need to be replaced
Light cooking/food prep on occasion
Management of their wardrobes
Running errands such as dry cleaning and post office
It would be very helpful if the Housekeeper was also happy to prepare a few meals during the week, eg a lasagne on a Friday if the children are home for the weekend.
The Clients would also like the Housekeeper to be flexible, with prior arrangement, to help at the weekends. This is mainly when the children are back for the weekends, as need to turn their laundry around for school or if they entertain so clearing up on the morning after or cleaning/setting up for a BBQ. This is mainly in the summer and not every weekend!
There may also be occasion when the Clients ask if you can stay overnight to look after the dog. This will be paid as additional.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm, some flexibility on occasional Saturdays desired.
Start date: End of August/Beginning of September
Salary: £500-£600 net per week/40 hours per week, additional hours to be paid at £12.50 net per hour
