Our client, with a beautiful country Estate close to Charlbury in Oxfordshire, is seeking a Live-out Housekeeper to join their established team of household staff.

The property is large, you would be working alongside 3 other full-time Housekeepers as well as 2 further part-time Housekeepers, as well as the rest of the Estate Team – this is a fully staffed property. 

This is a busy, full-time property - the family consist of 2 adults and 3 older children, only 1 of which is living at the property full-time. There are dogs so it’s a must you are pet friendly.

Duties include:

  • Wardrobe management including packing and unpacking, managing inventories etc
  • Hands on housekeeping – cleaning, tidying and organising to a high standard
  • Laundry & ironing – you must have knowledge of fabric care
  • Assistance with Front of House duties including service
  • Ad hoc duties and errands

Candidate requirements:

  • Proven experience and longevity in previous roles working in a similar capacity
  • Excellent abilities with wardrobe management is essential – Lady’s Maid experience would be a real bonus
  • Flexible and team player – happy to help out in other areas when the occasion arises
  • Must be a driver with own car due to the location of the property

Working days/hours: 5 days / 40-45 hours per week – organised on a rota basis in advance

Salary: £38,000 + depending on experience
