A warm and welcoming family of six residing in a four-storey residence in Kensington is seeking a highly experienced, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Full-Time Housekeeper to join their fully staffed household. This is a long-term position for someone who takes pride in maintaining a pristine home, and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Full cleaning and upkeep of the home to a high standard across all floors
• Daily housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface cleaning
• Organising wardrobes and ensuring all clothing and linens are stored and presented correctly
• Overseeing and managing all laundry duties, including washing, drying and organising (main ironing duties handled by extra help)
• Keeping track of household supplies and reporting when items need replenishment
• Occasionally covering for other staff members (eg, helping to set the table, picking up the children from school)
• Working independently while maintaining strong communication with the rest of the team
• Travelling with the family on school holidays to the client’s second home in Spain
• Occasional simple cooking, assisting the cook as needed

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in a similar private household role with high standards and full responsibility
• Self-starter with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work without supervision
• Organised, reliable, and discreet with a proactive approach
• Team player, willing to assist other staff when required
• Comfortable with children and flexible to family needs
• Fluent in English preferred; German or Spanish language skills are a plus
• An EU passport
• A valid UK driving licence is advantageous

Schedule:

• Working days: Monday – Friday, however working one weekend per month, with 2 days off in the week
• Working hours: 9.00am–7.00pm, flexibility required, including occasional evening coverage
