Housekeeper
Location: Queen’s Park, London (moving to Notting Hill)
Start Date: ASAP
Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 6:00pm
Salary: £18–£20 per hour (£37,000–£42,000 gross per annum)
Contract: Permanent, Live-out

Description:

A lovely family of five based in Queen’s Park (soon relocating to Notting Hill) are seeking an experienced and reliable Housekeeper to join their household on a full-time, live-out basis. The family employ a live-in Nanny, so this role will focus primarily on maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and household organisation.

The ideal candidate will be professional, trustworthy, and proactive, with excellent attention to detail and proven longevity in previous roles. You should take pride in creating a clean, well-presented, and smoothly run home environment, and be comfortable working around children and a friendly family dog.

Duties Include:

• Daily housekeeping and cleaning to a high standard
• Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
• Maintaining organisation throughout the home
• Caring for delicate fabrics and special finishes
• Light family assistance such as occasional school/activity pick-ups
• Liaising with other household staff where needed
• Ensuring household supplies are well stocked

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous private household experience with excellent references
• Demonstrated longevity and commitment in past roles
• Confident handling laundry and housekeeping for a busy family home
• Child- and pet-friendly
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively
