Overview

A private family residing in a two-bedroom apartment in Chelsea is seeking an experienced, caring, and highly reliable full-time Nanny to support the day-to-day care and wellbeing of their child.

This role is best suited to a nurturing, professional, and flexible candidate who is confident working within a private household and can adapt to the evolving needs of a busy single mother.

Flexibility is essential, including the ability to provide overnight care and occasional 24-hour cover when required.

Family Setup

• Mother (single parent)
• Two children
• One child aged 11 (main focus of the role)
• Second child travels frequently and is often away
• Two dogs

Key Responsibilities

• Providing attentive, nurturing, and age-appropriate care for the 11-year-old
• Supporting daily routines, including meals, activities, and bedtime
• Ensuring the child’s safety, wellbeing, and ongoing development
• Planning engaging, structured, and educational activities
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised environment relating to the child
• Providing overnight care and occasional extended cover as required
• Assisting with general childcare-related duties to support the smooth running of the household

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Nanny within private households
• Excellent, checkable references, ideally demonstrating long-term service
• Warm, dependable, and professional approach
• Highly organised and able to work independently
• Flexible and accommodating with working hours, including overnight stays
• Comfortable around dogs
• Russian and/or English language a bonus but not essential
