We are searching for a highly experienced Butler for a lovely female client who travels to the Far East. You would be primarily based in London where she has a beautiful apartment, but must be totally flexible to travel on average 12 weeks per year.

This will be an exciting new position for a hands-on, very energetic and self-sufficient Butler to oversee and run the London apartment whilst working closely with a team of staff in Shanghai.

You will be required to provide full Butler service:

  • Front of house, table service, caring for silver, china and an extensive art collection
  • Wardrobe management
  • Organising and overseeing formal dinner parties
  • Assisting with restaurant bookings and appointments
  • When travelling, you will spend approximately 1-3 weeks away at a time
  • You will be required to travel ahead of the Principal, ensuring the property is stocked, immaculate and running smoothly

Working days will be 5 - 6 days a week

Please note that to apply for this role you must be legally able to work in the UK and live in or around the London area.  You must also have a minimum of 3-4 years previous Private House experience with good checkable references.
The client is also preferring candidates with previous experience of working in a British Royal residence.

The role is live-out in London with an apartment provided in Shanghai.

Salary in the region of £50,000 per annum.
