Part-Time Housekeeper / Nanny
Location: Binfield, Berkshire
Working Days: 2 days per week – Mondays, Fridays (flexibility may be required)
Hours: Approx. 4–6 hours per day (start time to be agreed)
Salary: £20–£23 gross per hour

We are seeking a reliable, caring, and proactive Housekeeper / Nanny to support a private family in Binfield. The role involves caring for two young boys (aged 1 and 3) within the principal’s residence, alongside housekeeping duties in a neighbouring manor house which operates as an Airbnb.

Both properties are located next to each other, and the role will be split between childcare and maintaining the second property to a high standard for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Childcare (Primary Residence):

• Providing attentive and nurturing care for two boys aged 1 and 3
• Supporting daily routines including meals, naps, and playtime
• Planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities
• Ensuring a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
• Children’s laundry and keeping play and living areas tidy

Housekeeping (Manor House – Airbnb):

• General cleaning (vacuuming, mopping, dusting)
• Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms
• Changing bed linen and managing laundry
• Preparing the property for guest arrivals to a high standard
• Restocking essentials and ensuring the house is guest-ready
• Maintaining overall cleanliness and organisation
• Reporting any maintenance issues

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar Housekeeper/Nanny or childcare role
• Warm, responsible, and trustworthy with a genuine love for working with children
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across both properties
• Flexible and proactive approach
• References may be requested
