Our client, who lives in Warwickshire (approx 10 miles east of Redditch), is looking for a part-time, live-out Housekeeper who also has some experience in looking after new-born babies, and will on occasion be willing and capable to do so for a couple of hours whilst mother takes a break.  The focus, however, is on the general tidiness and cleaning of the residence plus some preparation of simple meals.

Duties would include:

  • Cleaning
  • Ironing
  • Laundry
  • Shopping for groceries
  • Cooking - just simple meals and occasionally helping prepare for a dinner party
  • Taking care of the baby for just a short while

The client is open to which hours you work, but ideally it would be a minimum of 35 hours per week spread over 5 days or, alternatively, 3 days and 2 nights (hence experience with new-borns being essential).

Their baby is due in a couple of months so would like the Housekeeper to commence before then to help have the home ready, and be familiar with the duties and details of the 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom residence before the arrival. 

It is essential that you have your own car and drive as, although walking distance to the village, you will need to drive for shopping etc.

Hours of work - minimum 25 hours per week (can be flexible as to candidate's preference whether mornings or afternoons)

Days of work - Monday to Friday - 6 hours per day


Days of work - 3 days during the week and 2 nights (to assist with baby)

Salary: £25,000
