Job Specification: Housekeeper (Part-Time)
Location: London, E17
Days/Hours: 1-2 days per week, 4-8 hours per day

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper to work on a part-time basis in a family home in E17.  The ideal candidate will have a high standard of service, and a hands-on approach to housekeeping, ensuring the home remains in excellent condition. This role involves a variety of tasks from cleaning and laundry to assisting with travel preparations and occasionally helping with children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping: Provide hands-on housekeeping to a high standard, including regular deep cleaning
• Laundry & Ironing: Care for laundry, ironing, and maintaining fine fabrics
• Wardrobe Management: Organise and maintain wardrobe and changing bed linens
• Guest Care: Serve refreshments when guests are present
• Stock & Supplies: Maintain stock levels of household items
• Floral Care: Arrange and care for cut flowers and household plants
• Deliveries: Accept and organise deliveries
• Table Setting: Set tables for meals and events
• Errands: Run errands as required (eg, shopping, picking up items)
• Travel Preparation: Assist with travel planning, packing, and unpacking
• Antique & Special Care: Clean and care for silver, brass, wood, and antiques
• Grocery Shopping: Complete grocery shopping or online shopping
• Event & Ticket Bookings: Book tickets for events, trips, and more
• Cooking Assistance: Help with meal preparation or assist the cook as needed
• Childcare Support: Provide assistance with children when an extra pair of hands is needed

• Experience in hands-on housekeeping to a high standard
• Strong organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Comfortable with a variety of responsibilities from cleaning to errands
