Part-time Housekeeper
Location: Chelsea, London
Employment: Part-time, Live-out
Hours: 18 hours per week – either 2 full days or 3 split days
Salary: £21 per hour (dependent on experience)
Start Date: ASAP but flexible on January start if needed

Overview:

A family of four based in Chelsea, London, are seeking a proactive and reliable Part-time Housekeeper to support the smooth daily running of their home. The household also includes a small, friendly dog.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, efficient, and able to use their initiative with minimal direction. A confident communicator with good English and a positive attitude, you will take ownership of household tasks and ensure consistently high standards. Cooking is not required, but would be considered a bonus. The family are open to either self-employed or PAYE employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General housekeeping duties, including cleaning, tidying, and upkeep of interiors
  • Laundry, ironing, and basic wardrobe management
  • Monitoring and replenishing household supplies (proactive approach expected)
  • Ensuring the home is well-presented and organised at all times
  • Light cooking on occasion would be beneficial, but is not essential

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience working as a Housekeeper within a private household
  • Proactive, “on it”, and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Good standard of spoken English
  • Comfortable around a small friendly dog
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and professional
