Part-Time Housekeeper / Host
Location: Binfield, Berkshire
Working Days / Schedule: Every Monday – 4 hours per week (start time to be agreed)
Salary: £20 gross per hour

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and friendly Housekeeper / Host to assist with the upkeep of a beautiful private home in Binfield, Berkshire. This is a primarily a housekeeping-focused role, with occasional light hosting responsibilities when guests are visiting. The position would suit someone who enjoys maintaining high standards of cleanliness while also being warm, personable, and comfortable helping to create a welcoming atmosphere.

This is a part-time role working four hours every Monday, supporting the smooth running of the household through high-quality cleaning and organisation. When guests are present, the role may also involve light hosting tasks such as helping with simple breakfast service or ensuring communal areas remain tidy and inviting. Flexibility to occasionally work additional hours when guests are staying at the property would be considered a bonus.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Vacuuming and mopping floors
• Dusting furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Cleaning bathrooms, sinks, and toilets
• Kitchen cleaning including worktops, appliances, and sinks
• Changing bed linen when required
• Emptying bins and replacing liners
• General tidying and organisation of living spaces
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home
• Assisting with light breakfast service for guests (e.g., pouring juice, making coffee, setting out food)
• Light clearing and tidying of kitchen or dining areas after breakfast
• Ensuring guest areas remain tidy and presentable

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping or domestic cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Friendly and professional manner, comfortable interacting with guests
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
• References may be requested
