The Role

An experienced, warm, and energetic Rota Nanny is sought to join a busy international household in Europe. The nanny will work in collaboration with the parents and HM/PA to ensure the boys’ routines, education, and activities are consistent, structured, and engaging. This role requires a development-focused approach, alongside a positive and proactive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • School runs, after-school care, homework supervision, and liaison with teachers
  • Plan and organise stimulating activities (outdoor play, sports, arts & crafts, reading)
  • Book and accompany children to medical appointments when required
  • Prepare healthy meals/snacks for the children, coordinating with the family chef regarding dietary needs
  • Manage morning and bedtime routines; occasional babysitting and overnight monitoring
  • Organise wardrobes, play areas, and pack for school and family travel
  • Confidently provide proxy-parenting during parental absence
  • Travel with the family as needed
  • Maintain clear daily communication and thorough handover notes at rota changeover

Schedule

  • Rota: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (live-in during duty weeks, with appropriate rest breaks)
  • Flexibility required for family travel and occasional adjustments to the rota

Candidate Profile

  • Fluent in English and French (preffered for school and daily interactions)
  • Active, engaged, and passionate about child development
  • Warm and kind, yet confident in setting boundaries
  • Minimum 5 years’ professional nanny experience (experience in rota, HNW, or expatriate households highly desirable)
  • Current Paediatric First Aid / CPR certification
  • Discreet, organised, and a strong team player
  • Comfortable using technology for scheduling and communication

Eligibility

  • Applicants must already have the right to work in Europe (EU citizenship)
