Russian Speaking Rota Nanny

Location: Mayfair, London with travel

Accommodation: Nearby staff accommodation with your own bedroom and ensuite
Work Schedule: 1 week on, 1 week off - Flexibility is required, including availability for evenings and weekends

We are seeking a dedicated, proactive, and nurturing Nanny to provide exceptional childcare for a family based in Mayfair.  There are 3 children aged 4, 6, and 9 years old.  The ideal candidate will create a safe, stimulating environment for the children, ensuring their well-being and development.

As a Nanny, you will be responsible for the daily care of children in a private household. This role includes organising activities, preparing meals, and providing transportation to various events.

Key Responsibilities

• Childcare: Provide attentive care for children, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being
• Meal Preparation: Assist with the serving of chef-prepared nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs
• Educational Activities: Organise creative and educational games that promote learning and development
• Transportation: Safely transport children to and from school, playdates, and extracurricular activities
• Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties related to the children's care, such as tidying play areas and laundry, and ensuring the children have correct sizes, and everything is kept organised
• Communication: Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's progress and behaviour
• Health Management: Administer first aid or medication as needed, and monitor children's health

Qualifications

• 5 years previous experience as a Nanny or in childcare settings
• High school diploma or equivalent; further training in child development is preferred
• Certification in paediatric first aid qualification
• Strong understanding of child development stages and age-appropriate activities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to speak and communicate well in both English and Russian
• Ability to multitask, and remain calm in stressful situations
• Creative problem-solving skills for engaging children in learning activities
• Patience and a pleasant demeanour when interacting with children
