Our client, with a stunning Chateau 50 kms from Paris, is seeking 2 x Live-in Chef de Partie for their September to February shoot season.

This beautiful commercial Estate is set over 220 acres, providing the highest level of service and luxury for their guests.

As a Chef de Partie, you will be working alongside the Head Chef and leading the Kitchen Assistant/Cook. Working 5 days a week you will be preparing and cooking breakfast, elevenses, lunch, and afternoon tea, with the occasional evening function.

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Preparing breakfast, elevenses, lunch, and occasional dinner
  • Keeping the kitchen clean - reporting any issues
  • Ensure the kitchen and pantry are fully stocked
  • Stock checks/ordering
  • Liaising with the Head Chef
  • Supervising the Kitchen Assistant/Cook

Candidate should possess the following:

  • Candidates should be at ease in a family environment, and have a solid background in Chalets/Villas
  • Be incredibly organised and efficient
  • Must be legally able to work in France
  • French and English speaking essential
  • Provide own Chef’s whites – apron & hat supplied
  • Flexibility with working hours/days

Location: Near Paris, France
Contract Length: September 2024 - February 2025
Working Hours: Approx. 7.00am-7.00pm tbc
Working Days: 5 days a week – If 6 days a day-off in lieu will be given
Accommodation: Single ensuite room, shared kitchen & lounge area. Staff laundry available
Meals: One meal daily supplied - shared kitchen in accommodation      
Salary: €2,800 net per month
