We are seeking an experienced Temporary Night House Manager to provide short-term cover at a prestigious private residence in the South of France. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the household, maintaining exceptional standards, and delivering seamless support. For cultural reasons this role is currently only available to female candidates.

Duties

• Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the residence
• Manage and support household staff and external contractors
• Ensure the property is maintained to the highest standards at all times
• Act as the main point of contact for the principals and their guests
• Monitor household operations and respond promptly to any issues
• Conduct regular property checks and oversee security during night shifts
• Maintain accurate handover notes between shifts
• Handle confidential matters with professionalism and discretion

Requirements

• Previous experience as a House Manager within a private residence
• Experience supporting UHNW principals is highly desirable
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Professional, discreet, and proactive approach
• Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
• Flexible to work both day and night shifts
• Strong references and the right to work in France
• EU Passport holders only

Contract: 2 weeks (approximately, depending on the principal’s movements)
Start Date: 06/08/2026
Working days: 6 days a week
Working hours:12-hour shifts on a rota system - flexibility
Salary:  £450 per night
