Our client, a lovely family of four based in Ealing, is seeking an experienced and reliable Part-Time Housekeeper/Cook to join their household on a long-term basis.

The family live in a three-bedroom apartment and have two children aged 6 and 8. The role will primarily focus on housekeeping and supporting with family meals, with some childcare assistance required when the mother needs additional support.

The Role

• General housekeeping and cleaning of the family home
• Laundry and ironing to a high standard
• Assisting with dinner preparation and, on occasion, cooking family meals independently
• Providing occasional childcare support when required
• School runs – the school is approximately a 10-minute walk from the property
• Babysitting approximately once a month, arranged in advance and paid as overtime
• Working closely with the family to ensure the smooth running of the household

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a similar Housekeeper/Cook role
• Reliable, punctual and highly organised
• Kind, warm and confident around children
• Efficient with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
• Confident working around childcare and supporting a busy family household
• DBS and First Aid certification essential
• Driver advantageous but not essential

Location: Ealing, London
Start: ASAP
Hours/Days: Monday-Friday 1:00pm – 6:00pm
Babysitting: Approximately once a month, paid as overtime
Salary: £20–£25 gross per hour
