Our clients are seeking an experienced and polished Butler to join their household at their residence in the South of France, near Ramatuelle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury private service, with a confident yet discreet manner and the ability to deliver exceptional standards at all times.

Fluency in English is essential, and a minimum of three years’ relevant experience is required. A proven track record of longevity in previous roles is highly desirable.

This position requires an individual who is confident when interacting with guests and principals, particularly in both intimate and larger social settings, while also being able to remain unobtrusive when needed. Travel with the principals will be required.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing formal service, including silver service, to a high standard
• Supporting the planning and execution of events, dinners, and entertaining
• Liaising with chefs regarding menus, service, and travel requirements
• Organising and managing luggage for travel
• Booking restaurants and making reservations as required
• Providing driving services, including the operation of high-performance vehicles
• Running errands such as shopping and general household tasks
• Assisting the household team with any additional duties as required

Candidate requirements:

• Proven experience working within luxury private households
• Strong butler training and experience, including formal and silver service
• Fluent in English; French is advantageous
• Highly discreet, professional, and reliable
• Confident, personable, and well-presented, with excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to adapt between a visible service role and a more discreet presence
• Strong attention to detail and high standards
• Proactive, with excellent problem-solving skills and sound judgement
• Confident driver, experienced with high-performance vehicles

Accommodation:
Room within the main residence, with private bathroom and access to a shared kitchen

Salary:
€4,000 net per month, negotiable depending on experience
