Houseman / All-Rounder
Location: Holland Park, London
Days: 5 days per week (including one weekend day)
Start Date: Mid-September
Salary: £45,000 (Live-in) / £50,000–£60,000 DOE (Live-out)

A lovely family based in Holland Park is seeking an experienced, hands-on Houseman / All-Rounder to support the smooth running of their home. This is a varied role suited to someone proactive, flexible, and happy to assist wherever needed. A positive attitude and willingness to adapt to the family's changing requirements are essential.

There is a cleaner employed, so this is not a heavy housekeeping role, but the successful candidate should be happy to assist with general household duties when required.

Duties will include:

• Assisting with the day-to-day running of the household
• Driving the principals as required
• Preparing simple, family-style meals and light cooking
• Ensuring the home is always well presented and organised
• Assisting with packing and unpacking for travel
• Putting laundry away and helping with light household tasks when needed
• Liaising with contractors and service providers
• Monitoring household supplies and assisting with inventories
• Running errands and shopping as required
• Providing general hands-on support across all areas of the household
• Anticipating the family's needs and responding proactively
• Maintaining discretion, professionalism, and high standards at all times

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a private household is essential
• A flexible, can-do attitude with a willingness to turn your hand to any task
• Confident preparing simple, family-style meals
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
• Calm, proactive, and able to work independently
• Comfortable in a dynamic household where no two days are the same
• Full UK driving licence is essential

Working Schedule:

• 5 days per week
• One weekend day off and one weekday off each week
• The successful candidate will be expected to take annual leave when the family is travelling
