A private household based in Chelsea is seeking an experienced, reliable, and detail oriented Housekeeper to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation within the home. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, be proactive, and have experience caring for luxury interiors, delicate fabrics, and fine furnishings.

Key Responsibilities

•  Perform daily housekeeping duties including dusting, hoovering, mopping, polishing, sanitising, and general tidying
•  Care for high-end finishes and furnishings including marble surfaces, wooden floors, and antique furniture
•  Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all rooms to an exceptional standard
•  Change and replenish bed linens and towels as required
•  Manage household laundry to a high standard, including specialist care for delicate garments and wardrobe organisation
•  Ensure laundry is completed efficiently and returned promptly
•  Monitor cleaning and laundry supplies and report shortages when necessary
•  Report any damages, hazards, or maintenance concerns
•  Keep bathrooms fully stocked with clean towels and toiletries
•  Water indoor and outdoor plants and maintain tidy terraces/outdoor areas
•  Assist with other household duties as requested

Candidate Requirements

•  Previous experience working in a private household or high-end environment
•  Excellent attention to detail and high housekeeping standards
•  Knowledge of caring for delicate fabrics and luxury household finishes
•  Trustworthy, discreet, and professional
•  Organised, proactive, and able to work independently

Hours: 4 hours per day / 20 hours per week (flexible timings)
Salary: £22–£25 per hour (depending on experience)
