Working Days: Thursday - Sunday
Working Hours: 7:00am–7:00pm Thursday and Sunday, & 24-hour care on Fridays and Saturdays
Child: 12-year-old boy
Accommodation & Travel: Fully provided
SEN Requirements: Autism and Epilepsy
Salary: Please present daily rate and 24 hour rate

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SEN Nanny for a temporary, intensive role supporting a 12-year-old boy with Autism (ASD) and epilepsy who exhibits challenging behaviour. The successful candidate will be adaptable, calm under pressure, and skilled in managing behavioural and emotional regulation. This is a high-energy, hands-on role requiring consistency, sensitivity and professional expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored 1:1 support throughout the day
  • Implement behaviour management techniques and promote positive engagement
  • Assist with daily routines, activities, and transitions
  • Encourage social and emotional development
  • Liaise with parents and wider support staff to ensure continuity
  • Maintain a nurturing, structured, and safe environment

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience working with children diagnosed with Autism (ASD)
  • Strong background supporting children with challenging behaviour
  • Previous private household or SEN educational setting experience
  • Calm, resilient, emotionally mature, and highly observant
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Available for the full duration of the booking
  • Valid passport and willing to travel internationally
