Live-out Housekeeper
Location: Chelsea, London
Hours: 55–60 hours per week, 5-day rota (including some weekend work)

• 8:00am–5:00pm or 9:00am–6:00pm, Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday

We are seeking an experienced and professional Housekeeper to join a large, fully staffed HNW household in Chelsea. This is a live-out position working within an established team and reporting directly to the House Manager.

The family are in residence in the UK periodically throughout the year. When they are present, the role will be fast-paced and fully hands-on. During their absence, hours will be substantially reduced. Flexibility and a can-do attitude are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Housekeeping Team in maintaining exceptional standards throughout the property
• Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the household
• General housekeeping and thorough cleaning, including care and upkeep of electrical appliances
• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, antiques, silverware, and fine tableware
• Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including toilets, showers, bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
• Maintaining a spotless and hygienic kitchen
• Bed making and linen changes
• Window cleaning
• Carpet and rug care, including vacuuming and deep cleaning
• Laundry and ironing, including wardrobe organisation and seasonal rotation
• Managing dry cleaning runs
• Preparing light meals and snacks when the family are in residence
• Basic garden upkeep and flower arranging
• Shopping, running errands, and ordering supplies in coordination with the House Manager
• Assisting with incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Maintaining household inventories
• Greeting guests and assisting with service when required
• Carrying out any additional tasks reasonably requested by the Principals, House Manager, or PA

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum five years’ housekeeping experience within private households or luxury London hotels
• Previous experience working within UHNW households
• Strong understanding of high-level private household service standards
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Discreet, professional, and trustworthy at all times
• Proactive and confident working independently
• Flexible, adaptable, and willing to assist wherever needed
• Strong communication skills
• A positive team player who contributes to harmony and high morale within the household
