Our client, with a residence in Mayfair, London, is seeking an experienced and professional live-out Butler to join their established household.

The successful candidate will be discreet, polished and highly service-focused, with previous experience working within a high-end private household. Responsibilities will include traditional Butler duties, food and beverage service, assisting with entertaining, maintaining excellent presentation throughout the residence and ensuring the household runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a personable and proactive Butler who takes pride in delivering exceptional standards of service and is looking for a long-term position within a professional and welcoming private household.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Keeping up to date with the family’s daily schedule and requirements
• Maintaining the family kitchen, fridges and provisions
• Setting tables and providing lunch and dinner service
• Preparing bags and provisions for packed lunches when required
• Liaising with the Chefs regarding household orders and requirements
• Maintaining the wine cellar and monitoring wine, beer and beverage stocks
• Overseeing the evening close-down of the residence
• Preparing and setting the breakfast table
• Care and polishing of silver and brass
• Ensuring televisions and the cinema are maintained and reset when required
• Shoe care and polishing
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running and presentation of the household

Candidate requirements:

• Must have a UK Driving Licence
• UK Passport holder for ease of travel
• London based

Working days: 6 days a week – time off given on quieter times of year
Working hours: Average 50 hours a week – subject to principals visits
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000
