Live-Out Housekeeper / Cook
Location: Oxshott, Surrey
Salary: Flexible, depending on experience
Working Days: Monday – Friday
Hours: 40 hours per week, starting at 7:30am

A lovely opportunity has arisen for an experienced Housekeeper / Cook to join a private family household in Oxshott, Surrey.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day housekeeping and upkeep of the family home, alongside preparing fresh, simple and nutritious meals for the children. Cooking will be an important part of the role, and the family are looking for someone who is confident and enjoys preparing meals for children. The role will also involve school runs and pick-ups, as well as assisting with the general smooth running of the household.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Full cleaning and upkeep of the family home
• Preparing fresh, simple and nutritious meals for the children
• Taking responsibility for children's meals and snacks throughout the day
• Planning meals and ensuring the kitchen is well stocked and organised
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
• Laundry and ironing
• General tidying and organisation
• School runs and pick-ups
• Working around the family's dogs
• Ad hoc household duties as required

Candidate Requirements

• Previous private household housekeeping experience preferred
• Strong cooking skills and confidence preparing fresh, nutritious meals for children
• Enjoys cooking and is happy to take responsibility for the children's meals
• Excellent cleaning and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
• Full UK driving licence and confidence driving for school runs
• Comfortable around dogs
• Proactive, reliable and able to work independently
